The first ever defenseman in the history of the Major League Lacrosse to be named finals MVP, Kyle Hartzell is renowned for his passionate and relentless style of play. As a superb college player, the two-time All-American collected three national championships with two schools while honing the stifling defense and quick moves that would become his professional trademarks. It didn't take long for Kyle to make his mark in the pro game, winning championship titles with the Chesapeake Bayhawks (outdoor) and the Washington Stealth (indoor) in just his third professional year.
Very few players in lacrosse have four championship rings, but for Kyle, the true goal is to expand the presence of the game among the young. Along with two of his friends and fellow MLL players, Kyle conducts a variety of training camps and clinics through their instruction company, Rogue Lacrosse, to help give back to the game that has given him so much.
An accomplished player and teacher who has dedicated his life to the sport of lacrosse, Kyle Hartzell brings his winning habits to the expansion Ohio Machine who begin their inaugural MLL season in 2012.
